About Me: I was born and raised in the Nashville area and attended Vanderbilt University. My first work experience was in the corporate world with Xerox Corporation. As a marketing representative I was in the top 10 of 100,000 sales representatives and managed major accounts including Vanderbilt University and all hospitals. My next career stop was to launch Business Nashville Magazine and head the sales of the publication which later sold to Gannett Publishing.
I am the proud mother of two boys and stayed home to raise them in their early years while dabbling in redoing properties to sell. I launched my career in real estate on 2002 and have never looked back! Prior to my affiliation with Worth Properties, I sold real estate for French Christianson Patterson and Associates holding the top sales position several years during my tenure.
My approach to real estate is one of a boutique. I work almost exclusively from referrals. I have a very strong knowledge of the Nashville market and I find my training in major account contract negotiation with Xerox a true asset for my clients in the buying and selling process. There are many facets of buying and selling a home and it is likely my buyers single largest investment. My knowledge of the market is something my clients rely on.
I don’t strive to be the biggest in terms of number of clients. The reason is simple- you cannot, in my opinion, deliver 5 star one-on-one attention to more than a few clients at a time. An example of this is the fact when I list a property, I am present at the showings. How can someone sell your home if they aren’t there and your potential buyer is opening the door with the lights off and trying to find the kitchen and master bedroom? Every home has things about it that make it great and special in many ways. I am there to highlight the aspects of a home that make it sell. To show off the things the owner loves about their own home that make someone love it as well. As a buyer’s agent, we need to be able to work at your schedule to teach you the market so that you are comfortable pulling the trigger when we walk in the door of the perfect property. A good agent does their homework. They have a network within all firms and can give you facts and history to why the home is being sold and work with you to secure the best price possible. My ability to do this is based on hard work and a good reputation among my peers for over a decade.
I have sat on charitable boards within the city such as The Nashville Humane Assocation and served as Chairman of countless charitable events-the largest being Chairman of The Nashville Steeplechase for The Monroe Carrol Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Hospital. This event is the largest charity event in the state of Tennessee.
